Are you looking for Drupal web hosting through a VPS? If so, MediaTemple is a tempting option. It offers hosting that works well with Drupal (easy set up and enough resources to handle the CMS), but the price tag tends to keep some consumers away. At $50 per month, you are paying a premium to host your website through a VPS. If using a VPS isn't important to you, we would recommend you look elsewhere for a Drupal web host.

GoDaddy

GoDaddy does well with Drupal in some respects. It offers one click installation and has a price tag worth jumping on at under $10 per month. Unfortunately, the perfect match stops there. We find that GoDaddy hosting just isn't strong enough to support a Drupal-based website. The Drupal websites that we saw in GoDaddy performed slower than desired. We needed a better fit for our Drupal web hosting.

HostGator

HostGator ended up being our top choice for Drupal web hosting. It had a similar price tag to GoDaddy as well as a one click installation through its control panel. However, the difference was that HostGator actually offered the resources necessary to host Drupal-based websites. The websites that we saw on HostGator performed quickly and with limited to no downtime. We consider HostGator to be equal in service to MediaTemple, but at one sixth of the price.
